The Residence Mothya is located along a sandy sea shore in Marsala. It is composed of 16 mini apartments; each one with its private entrance, but intercommunicated, they are one level and two level apartments. In each of them there is air conditioning system , hair dryer, cooking facilities, tv set, car parking, and a small garden furnitured with umbrella and chairs. Inside the residence there is the information desk, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a tennis court, a children playground, bar, american bar, restaurant and a conference room. Pets are allowed to enter the residence.

The structure is located in an area full of history and tradition and that invites to go out for relaxing excursions.

Marsala is situated on the Western coast of Sicily where the famous Salines and quiet reserves are. Its
name, of arabic origin, means "Port of Ali".
This place is rich of evidences from the past, that document all its various historical stages, it also has many archeological and historical sites wich are very interesting and have been preserved for many years. Just to mention some of the places you may visit there are: the Salines, Erice, Segesta, the natural Riserve of the Zingaro, Mothya with its wonderful pieces of art, etc.

After the distruction of the Island of Mothya, Marsala became a powerfull Carthaginian setlement and only after numerous attacks, fell in the hands of the Romans. For some time it was the ouester venue and famous Cicero lived there. On May 11th, 1860; the General Garibaldi landed at Marsala, starting the process of unification of our peninsula.

Today Marsala is a wonderful town with a lot of cultural activities. Its economy is based on the agriculture, fishing, hothousing cultivation, not to mention the tourism. Marsala is very famous for its good wine, as this land grows excellent grapes.
